InPhase says “Mine's bigger”

  • by

In the upcoming format war, the winner will likely be decided by capacity, speed, coolness of name, and avaliability. So InPhase’s 300Gb Holographic drive is likely to cause a bit of a stir.

The drive seems designed for industrial-grade backups – and a write speed of 20Mb/s confirms those backups could take a while. But if we can get DVD collections like this or this on just one disc, that would be cool too.

  1. And the war continues…I can see these disks being used by huge companies and the OCCASIONAL huge dvd release, however I doubt they will be cheap enough to be adobtable by many companies…but time shall tell, until then we can enjoy the fight between HD-DVD and blu0ray!
