Well it’s been a while since I last posted. I would say I’ve been busy…but I’d be lying. Been perfecting my BF2 infantry game and also doing the odd bit of revision for my exams. But that didn’t stop me having a bit of fun on F.E.A.R. tonight with another Blog poster…It turned out to be a lot more intense and enjoyable than the usual games I play (BF2, CS), even with the chumps.
In case you didn’t know, Crysis is to be the next game from Far Cry developers Crytek – using their new CryEngine2. Far Cry pushed the boundaries of what PCs were capable of when it was first released, and also managed to pack in a brilliant and open ended single player campaign as well as a (admittedly a bit uninspired) multiplayer system. Crysis looks like it will be doing the same thing again.

This has been a hot topic as of late, with most people seeing this as another EA money scam, others as a blatent invasion of piracy and a few don’t see the big deal. I have come across an article which explains the motives behind the ads and what they actually collect.
UPDATE: The official word from EA has also been posted where they confirm what has already been said.
This post started out as a continuation of my long lost one about the best shooters which you must play. In the end it looks more like a review for oblivion, so I shall officaially declare this the start of a series of reviews I will do on some of the games I own.
